## Opening-by-opening assessment
- Identify priority doors, sidelites and exposed windows.
- Record opening dimensions, glass type / thickness if known, frame condition and existing films.
- Flag unknown glass details, damaged glazing and frame repairs for review.
- Provide photographs or plans through a company-agreed channel; do not send sensitive campus security plans publicly.

## Compare complete proposals
- Request film product names, manufacturer instructions and glass-compatibility review.
- For safety / security applications, evaluate glass, frame, film and required attachment together.
- Request relevant test documentation and check that its tested configuration matches the proposed assembly.
- Separate preparation, film, attachment, access costs, repairs, assumptions and exclusions.
- Agree quantities, installation phases, access, inspection and completion documentation.
- Review product-specific warranty terms, curing guidance and cleaning instructions.

## Important limitations
Ordinary safety and security window film does not stop bullets or guarantee intrusion prevention. It is not a replacement for required physical security measures. Performance depends on the complete assembly and installation; film thickness alone does not establish protection.
